Social Skills and Pragmatic Language Groups
Our social skills and Pragmatic Language program is a curriculum based program designed for school age children with pragmatic language deficits and difficulty with higher level language. This program is intended to help your child achieve the use of dynamic language in social situations in order to build true friendships.
Successful communication and interactions involve many complex processes. Your child needs to learn to appreciate others points of views and to share information using dynamic language that allows for rewarding friendships. The use of dynamic language results in flexible, spontaneous and simultaneous interactions with peers.
Skills are taught through role-playing, scripting, associative and cooperative play.
